Steven Scala

Chief Corporate Development Officer

Steven is chief corporate development officer for NFPA Global Solutions™. Steve formerly served as NFPA vice president of Corporate Development, where he was responsible for creating the NFPA strategy for inorganic growth to support NFPA’s mission of reducing loss from fire and other hazards.

Steve brings more than 30 years of global business experience having worked at IBM, GE, and an E-commerce start-up which he sold to private equity. Steve has held several international leadership roles in sales, marketing, general management, engineering, and corporate development and has led numerous buy and sell side engagements. Steve earned his master’s degree in management science from the University of South Florida and his BS in management information systems from Southern New Hampshire University.
